Exploring the intersection of AI and Persuasion to foster a more ethical technology

About Us

The RhetAI Coalition connects AI/ML industries with university researchers and not-for-profit partners to provide solutions to AI’s unprecedented—and currently unchecked—powers of persuasion. Drawing from research in the field of rhetoric and its focus on ethical persuasion, RhetAI Coalition members investigate, develop, and propose new frameworks for tomorrow’s persuasion machines in order to support democratic principles and processes and forge a durable, resilient, and ethical AI.
